Global Board of Directors

The members of the Mitel User Group Board of Directors come from diverse backgrounds brought together
by their use of Mitel communications products and services.

The current Board of Director members are:

Director, Cas Rangel

CTO / CIO / CPO, Building Products, Inc.
United States

Why volunteer with MUG? “Innovation is happening at such a fast pace that it is hard to keep up with all the changes, newness, and what should be retired. Being part of MUG brings community and the ability to network with a vast array of members all over the world who can offer collaborative discussions. Also, there is the ability to see what is coming with interaction by Mitel in many different aspects.”

Director, Bonnie Auch

IT Senior Manager, First Interstate Bank
United States

Director, Zachary Jones

Assistant Director of Telecommunications, Binghamton University
United States

Why volunteer with MUG? “Mitel gives members advanced information, and we also have an easy way to get in contact with them.”

Director, Judy Abbott

HR Systems Administrator,
Centerline Windsor Limited
Canada

Why volunteer with MUG? “Volunteering with MUG provides opportunities to network & collaborate with other members within the MUG community. Being able to collectively contribute to the MUG community brings great satisfaction when I see how far we have come in helping influence Mitel’s direction for the future.”

Director, Pius Baumann

Head of Voice Networks
ETH Zurich
Switzerland

Why volunteer with MUG? “We always seek close cooperation with the manufacturer, and MUG is a body in which this cooperation goes hand in hand with influence on the future product strategy. Networking with other manufacturers (interfaces), for example, is in our interests. An isolated individual solution is not a solution for the future.”

Director, Simon Etta

Director of Telecommunication Services
City of Baltimore
United States

Why volunteer with MUG? “As a MUG Board member, it is a privilege to serve as a bridge between the user community and Mitel, advocating for user needs in a fast-changing tech ecosystem.”

Director, Thomas Gustafsson

Service Delivery Responsible & Product Owner – Corporate Telephony & Trading Telephony
SEB (Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken)
Sweden

Why volunteer with MUG? “MUG offers great possibilities for networking, education and collaboration with other members and colleagues.”

Director, Marco Heijmen

Manager ICT Infrastructure
Royal Rotra Group
Netherlands

Why volunteer with MUG? “The great thing about this is exchanging experiences with colleagues from other companies and helping each other. One of the benefits is to be the first to have the latest information about the Mitel environment.”

Director, Nicolas Saint-Remy

Chief Technology Officer
Saint-Gobain Distribution Batiment
France

Why volunteer with MUG? “As a MUG Board member, I can represent French/European users. I have the opportunity to meet Mitel leaders and share customer product and partner challenges. Additionally, I stay informed about Mitel’s strategy and product evolution and can provide information to users.”
