The Mitel User Group site has a new look. A few sections are still on their way — check back soon, or reach out directly.
The MUG Board of Directors is a volunteer leadership team composed of active Mitel customers who help guide the strategy, priorities, and activities of the Mitel User Group — and act as the primary liaison between the customer community and Mitel leadership.
Each board member plays an active role in ensuring MUG delivers value to its diverse user base:
Provides overall leadership, represents MUG externally, and drives strategic vision.
Supports the president and coordinates board initiatives and member engagement.
Maintains records, documents meeting outcomes, and manages official communications.
Oversees financial matters, budgets, and sponsorship allocations (where applicable).
Advocate for members in specific regions or topic areas (e.g., technical content, events, training), ensuring MUG offerings stay relevant and impactful.
The full Board meets once per month to review initiatives, plan events, discuss feedback channels, and align on strategic priorities.
Once per year, the Board meets in person with Mitel leaders and subject matter experts to:
This annual engagement ensures member voices are heard at the highest levels and that MUG can communicate real customer priorities back into Mitel’s product and strategy conversations.
