Mitel User Group Announces 2026 Global Board of Directors 
Newly elected and returning leaders bring fresh perspective, continuity, and global expertise to guide the MUG community in 2026 

January, 26 2026 – The Mitel User Group (MUG), the independent, customer-led community representing Mitel users worldwide, is pleased to announce the results of its 2026 Global Board of Directors election. The newly seated Board brings together experienced returning leaders and two newly elected directors, reflecting the depth, diversity, and global reach of the MUG community. 

The 2026 Global Board includes the new election of Tom Boyle and Jason Hand, alongside the re-election of Cas Rangel, Bonnie Auch, and Nicolas Saint-Remy.
 

“This year’s Board represents a strong blend of fresh perspective and proven leadership,” said Cas Rangel, President of the Mitel User Group. “Together, we bring real-world experience from across industries and regions, ensuring MUG remains a trusted, member-driven voice for Mitel customers globally.” 

Newly Elected Directors 
Tom Boyle, Head of Digital Communications at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (United Kingdom), brings a public-sector and healthcare perspective to the Global Board. He leads a £2.5M service delivering critical clinical and patient communications and serves nationally as Co-Chair of the NHS Telecoms Advisory Group and NHS England’s lead for the PSTN switch-off. 

Jason Hand, IT Specialist at Central New Mexico Electric Cooperative (United States), brings more than two decades of hands-on Mitel experience in the utilities sector. Having supported Mitel environments since 2004, Jason offers a practical, customer-driven perspective grounded in real-world operational needs. 

Together, these newly elected directors strengthen the Board with a balance of human-centric insight and operational expertise, enhancing MUG’s ability to represent diverse customer environments and evolving communications needs. 

Re-Elected Directors 
Mitel User Group members also re-elected three highly respected Board members whose leadership has helped guide the organization through continued growth and global engagement. 

Cas Rangel, President of the Mitel User Group and CIO at Building Products, Inc. (United States), continues to focus on long-term strategy, member engagement, and collaboration with Mitel leadership. 

Bonnie Auch, Vice President of the MUG Board and IT Senior Manager at First Interstate Bank (United States), brings deep enterprise and regulatory expertise, ensuring solutions align with realistic operational requirements. 

Nicolas Saint-Remy, Director and CTO at Saint-Gobain Distribution Bâtiment (France), continues to advocate for global member insights and close collaboration with Mitel on product innovation. 

Collectively, these re-elected directors provide continuity, institutional knowledge, and a demonstrated commitment to innovation, global expansion, and informed strategy as MUG enters 2026.
