MITEL USER GROUP NORDIC

The association for you who in one way or another work with telecommunications within your organization.

About Us

Mitel User Group Nordic (former MX-One Usergroup) is a non-profit association that works to promote and make use of its members’ experiences with Mitel’s solutions, primarily the telecommunications system MX-ONE with associated applications. The association is for you who in one way or another are responsible for telecommunications at your company and want to be able to influence Mitel’s products.

The association was formed in November 1990, with the then name A335 User Association, and works on a non-profit basis to make use of the members’ experiences with the telecommunications system Ericsson MD110 (called A335 on and by Telia) and promote development around this. The user association A335 was started to create a forum for the exchange of experience, to influence the supplier and to get information about the switch’s development and news, and to avoid going to the general telephone seminars that were so common at the time. With the great help of Tore Enhager at Telia, the association was started and its first meeting was at Scandic by Slussen. Since the association at that time had no equity capital, Telia stood as guarantor of the finances and was responsible for the joint dinner and entertainment. Some who were involved in the formation were Jan Blom, Handelsbanken (who for many years was the chairman of the association), Sten Wallin, Posten, Stellan Jakobsson, Volvo and Inger Stockvik, Chalmers. Over the years, the association’s meetings have been held in many places around Sweden, initially mostly in Stockholm and Gothenburg, but also had a joint seminar with BRUM (the Norwegian “MD Association”) in Oslo. In order for the transport to work that time, the association had to charter its own plane. We have also held a seminar on Finland’s boats. In the first seminars that were organized, there was a lot of talk about phones that did not measure up and Telia’s invoices. At that time we had one seminar in the fall and one in the spring. At the annual meeting on 27 May 2009, the association adopted new statutes which, among other things, meant that the association changed its name from MD110 Telekom (the name change from A335 had taken place earlier) to MX-ONE Usergroup. And in 2016 it was time again, with Mitel becoming the owner of the kara MD110/MX-ONE, and now the association is called Mitel User group Nordic, a name that fits well in the mouth when we have to discuss common issues with the newly started Global Mitel User Group.
