    We would like to have some of our staff maybe 6-9 use their Smart phones as extensions when onsite and offsite through an app for inbound and outgoing calls, so forwarding isn’t the ideal solution.

    Our current licenses are:
    1 Operator Operator Access Licenses
    1 Small Business Edition 100 System Licenses
    1 Standard Resolution Video Licenses
    7 Extension Only Licenses
    24 SIP Trunks Licenses
    26 Extension and Mailbox Licenses
    3 Site Licenses
    33 Connect Client Access Licenses
    33 Mobile Call Manager Licenses
    35 SIP Phones Licenses
    34 SoftPhone Licenses
    33 Standard Resolution Video Licenses

    We have 15 ip phones onsite configured (number reduced due to covid restructure)
    and 4 pstn phones.
    We are running the Mitel server in a HyperV and we have a couple of Shoretel switches mainly for the pstn devices

    What would we need to add in licenses and do with this setup to acheive this?
    We have a Sonicwall Router firewall on our network which we could use for VPN access as an alternative to EdgeGateway. Pros and Cons?
