Hi, we currently make use of the Hot Desk feature for our ACD Agents who all currently utilise 6920 handsets. We’re now wanting to extend the Hot Desk capability to also make use of the ACD SIP Softphone within Micollab, removing the need for physical phones in some locations. The question I have is, is there a separate licensing concern for enabling this type of Hot Desk user within MiCC/MiVB, or does the use of the ACD Softphone simply fall within our existing Base Contact Centre User license and is therefore available to use as we wish.
When you switch to the SIP Softphone You can use the same user license for the MiVoice Business that you do today for the 6920. The MiCC bundle license for the agent comes with MiCollab and MiCollab Softphone licenses so that is all that should be required to allow the hotdesking to take place on the MiCollab Softphone.
